About Tiffany Lachelle...
I'm an EDpat. EDpats are expatriates working in education and living in some of the most beautiful places around the globe. My EDpatriation started in 2011 as an elementary school teacher in Casablanca, Morocco. After two years, I spent an additional two and a half years as an elementary school teacher in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
I am currently a doctoral student at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. My research focuses on understanding factors that encourage American teachers of color to teach abroad.
This platform came into fruition through my personal desire to expose the world to teachers, specifically African Americans, who are embracing a lifestyle of international engagement. Too often, our voices are silenced and unheard.
Essentially, my hope is that the featured voices of EDpats on (A)broad in Education will inspire you abundantly .
